- Sandra Baik, D.O., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Sandra Baik recently joined Pediatric
Affiliates in June 2006. Prior to that
she worked in a private practice in downtown Los Angeles and was a
faculty
member at California Hospital Medical Center. She taught inpatient and
outpatient pediatrics to the family practice residents at CHMC and
received a teaching award for her dedication in 2006.
Dr. Baik grew up in Missouri. A graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy,
she attended Johns Hopkins University on a merit scholarship and
majored in both Biology and English. Dr. Baik attended medical school at
Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, and
is a member of Sigma Sigma Phi Osteopathic Honor Society. She completed
her internship and residency at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.
She earned Board Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics in
2003, and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Los
Angeles Pediatric Society. Dr. Baik is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Baik lives with her husband and son in Altadena, and enjoys both
cooking South Asian food and doing home improvements in her spare time.
